Meringue sandwich of slow-baked soft-centred meringue and Chantilly cream, coated in Chantilly cream and Belgian chocolate shavings.
The Merveilleux originates in Belgium and remains a very popular dessert to this day in the French and Belgian Flanders. Shops dedicated to the Merveilleux exists such as Aux Merveilleux de Fred which has locations worldwide.
We think that is the perfect contrast of textures- a crunchy melt in your mouth meringue with a soft, fluffy slightly sweet cream and, finally, crunchy chocolate shavings.
All products are hand-made by pastry chefs made with natural ingredients. Contains no artificial colourings, flavourings or preservatives.Shelf-life 3-4 days stored in fridge.
