Wonder why this is out best selling product? Well, we think that this is the best carrot cake in the world! Being a family company with family members who are gluten-intolerant and Coeliac, we are passionate about producing gluten-free products which taste like ‘normal’ products. So how do we do this? Firstly, we use over 20% freshly grated, juicy carrot straight from Smithfield market which helps to produce a super moist sponge.Secondly, we do not use rice flour or any starches which in our option result in the grainy after-taste usually associated with gluten-free bakery products. We use a mix of various whole-grain flours. We don’t increase sugar levels and don’t use xanthan gum. Then we use our magic technique to make this into an amazing carrot sponge. Topped with our special citrus cream cheese icing- a rich cream-cheese icing with a high content of our Artisan Irish cream-cheese which is amazing when combined with our orange citrus flavour .Our gluten-free carrot cake can be enjoyed by all family members, and not just those following a gluten free diet.
